Leading esports organisation, Marcos Gaming have acquired top Indian Clash of Clans Team, Indian Clashers.The expansion is part of the Marcos Gaming strategy to venture into new esports titles. Indian Clashers represent India at the Global Clash of Clans world tournament. The team is represented by Divyanshu Gupta (Drag), Nirmesh Bansal (CerealKiller), Aadesh Vaidya (eleven), Ishan Bohra (death), and Gauresh Kumbhar (Gauresh). On the partnership, Indian Clashers team captain Aadesh Vaidya had this to say “ We feel Marcos Gaming and Indian Clashers are aligned in their vision for esports in India. With the support of Marcos Gaming, we expect to scale heights that no other Indian team in Clash of Clans has ever reached.”
This announcement comes after Marcos Gaming signed live streaming rights deal with Loco. Clash of Clans is one of most popular strategy mobile games. The game has over 53 million downloads and is gaining significant traction in the Indian market after the ban of PUBG Mobile. Clash of Clans conducts numerous tournaments globally such as the Clash International Cup, Elite War Championship, EWU among others. Marcos Gaming exclusive marketing agency, Baseline Ventures also congratulated the team on the acquisition. “Marcos Gaming is actively expanding into other esports games and this was a great opportunity to partner with the best team in Clash Of Clans in India. We have observed the performance of the Indian Clashers team over the past year and they truly have the potential to become one of the best teams in the world. Marcos Gaming will provide the support the players need fulfil their potential” said Sudhir Kulria, CEO Marcos Gaming.
Indian Clashers are currently preparing to compete at the EWU, a league in Spain with a prize money of USD 50,000. They are the only team to qualify from Asia for the league.
