DAMWON Gaming beat Suning Gaming in 4 games with a scoreline of 3-1 to clinch the 2020 League of Legends World Championship!
LCK have long awaited a successor to take over from the reigns of SKT and Samsung Galaxy to bring the Summoners Cup back to South Korea. Suning Gaming on the other side also had a fairy tale run by overcoming Europe LEC’s 1st seed G2 Esports in the group stage, China LPL’s 1st and 2nd Seed TOP Esports and JD Gaming in Semifinals and Quarterfinals respectively to make it to the finals of the 10th LoL Esports World Championship.
With around 3.9 Million viewers excluding Chinese statistics, the finals was one of the most successful events of 2020 despite many restrictions due to Covid-19.
