Introduction
The League of Legends World Championship 2020 (LoL worlds Play In 2020) will be starting from 25th September in Shanghai, China. Today we will provide you all details related play-in stage. Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions from the event Vietnamese teams couldn’t participate in this year’s LoL Worlds 2020. There will be 10 teams competing in the Play-ins instead of the usual 12.
Worlds 2020 Play-ins is split into two groups, each group contain 5 teams. The play-in has been split into two stages, stage 1 matches will be single round robin format, only. The top team from both the group will move to Group Stage and bottom team from both groups will be eliminated. You can see here for a list of all the Teams at LoL Worlds 2020.
6 teams will participate in Stage 2 of LoL Worlds Play Ins, in best of five matches with single elimination format. Here we highlight the LoL Worlds Play In teams and provide the entire Worlds Play In schedule with timings.

Team Liquid:
The Dutch eSports organization Team Liquid started their League of Legends journey in 2015. In LCS Summer 2020 they showed a great performance in group stage where they secured the 1st position in leaderboard and directly moved to upper bracket Semifinals of playoffs. They ended on 3rd position in LCS Summer 2020 and secured the place in this year’s LoL Worlds Play In Groups stage.

MAD Lions:
Spanish esports club Mad Lions was formed in 2017.Mad Lions secured the 2nd rank in group stage of League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Summer 2020, where they directly moved to semifinals of upper bracket in LEC Summer 2020 playoffs. Mad Lions lost by 3-1 against G2 Esports in Semifinals of LEC Summer 2020. Mad Lions has finished in 4th rank in overall leaderboard of LEC Summer 2020 and secured a place in Playins of Worlds 2020.

Legacy Esports:
Australian esports organization Legacy Esports started his League of Legends journey in 2014. Legacy Esports has become the champion of OPL Split 2, 2020 and won the slot in Worlds 2020 Play-In.

SuperMassive Esports is a Turkish esports organization, it is also known as Papara SuperMassive. They started their journey of League of Legends in 2016 by aquiring Beşiktaş e-Sports Club. By becoming the champion of TCL Summer 2020 team has won a spot in Play-In of League of Legends World Championship 2020.

INTZ has seeded in Play-In of Worlds 2020 for winning the CBLOL Winter 2020. INTZ is a Brazilian esports organization which owns teams in multiple games such as PUBG Mobile, CSGO, Dota2 and many more.

LGD Gaming is Chinese esports organization which currently owns multi-gaming Teams such as Dota 2, League of Legends, overwatch and more. LGD Gaming got seeding from the LPL Regional Finals where they are winner of the Tournament after they beat Invictus Gaming to qualify for worlds 2020.

V3 Esports became the champion of LJL Summer 2020 by defeating DetonatioN FocusMe on grand finals and get seeded for the LoL Worlds Play In stage 2020.
